Lauren Crow is the President and CEO (Steer) of The Troth, the oldest, largest and only woman-lead international organization for inclusive Heathenry, and Gythia of the Black Beard Kindred of Central Arkansas. In addition, she is a jewelry and sculpture artist who sells her wares via her site Cat and Crow. She lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband and three spoiled dogs. Additionally, she is blessed to have a chosen family and an amazing godson.
For two decades, Lauren has been an active advocate for a pro-queer and anti-racist vision of Heathenry. She helped form the first inclusive Heathen kindred in Arkansas and has been active in the greater Midwest and Midsouth area as a public face for Inclusive Heathens. She serves as a lay chaplain for hospitals and hospices in Central Arkansas for Heathen patients. She is a student of traditional Ozark folk magic and medicine, and fuses these practices with her inclusive Heathen faith.
Lauren is the host of Heathen Talk, SHEathenry, and most recently Heathen History. She has also been featured on the Harvard Divinity School’s Ministry of Ideas podcast as an expert on the history of modern Heathenry.
